We’re Just One Click Away: Dubai Police tell EXPO 2020 Visitors
The Dubai Police General Command has launched a promotional campaign to enhance the sense of safety and security among Expo 2020 visitors and raising their awareness of the smart and fast services provided by the Force.
Launched under the motto ‘Your Security at EXPO 2020’, the ‘Our Services at Your Fingertips’ campaign confirms Dubai Police’s full readiness to receive the public’s reports and inquiries quickly and conveniently through smart communication channels and provide them with distinguished services that exceed their expectations.
Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence, confirmed that Dubai Police believes that the present and the future are steered by digital development and smart services. Therefore, the Force launched the ‘Our Services at Your Fingertips’ campaign in coincidence with the EXPO 2020, the world’s greatest show that brings together people from 192 nations of different cultures and experiences.
Brigadier Al Razooqi further explained that Dubai Police, in line with the directives of the wise leadership and the instructions of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, continuously develops and updates its smart app to ensure all services are conveniently accessible to the public.
“Dubai Police smart app, which is available on ‘Google Play’, ‘App Store’ and ‘Huawei AppGallery’, is developed per the highest international standards and responds to the government’s directives in building a sustainable economy by introducing sustainable projects and smart services,” he added.
Brigadier Khaled Ali Shehail, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness, said the Dubai Police is keen to achieve its strategic objective in ensuring the highest levels of happiness among society members. He stressed the vital role of awareness and promotional campaigns implemented by Dubai Police to introduce security, community service and spread awareness messages among community members.
The ‘Our Services at Your Fingertips’ campaign aims at enhancing the awareness of Expo 2020 Dubai visitors on the readiness of Dubai Police officers and personnel to provide quick and effective services. It also highlights the difference between the emergency hotline (999) and the (901) Call Centre for non-emergency cases, and other essential services such as the ‘e-crime’ platform, which handles cybercrime reports and the ‘Police Eye’ service that allows members of the public to report violations and suspicious activities.
